About us

Our founder and CEO Albert Shangu Zitha was born in the Far East rand of Johannesburg in Ekurhuleni municipality. He is a qualified facilitator, Tutor, Theatre Director, Choreographer, Performer and a Listening hour Guide. He holds a Masters degree in Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand, a certificate in learner Mentor from Ekurhuleni East College. He has won many performance accolades from the South African Championships of performing where he was selected to represent Team South Africa in Los Angeles in 2018 for his overall performer award. He was honoured by SABC 1 reality TV show as a young Hero in community development. He also was awarded a top 100 South African rising stars in 2022 for his excellent work in community development through Arts. He founded what was then called Alba Creative’s performance which then later evolved to Sir Alba Tutoring and Arts Academy where he produced many beautiful works with kids that went up to the finals of SA Got Talent in 2014. Dance world cup SA semi Gold medallist, SA dance School gold medallist and many other accolades. He is a strong believer of black excellence and that through arts and arts education, a life of an ordinary black child can be transformed by providing a platform at which they can rehearse for change.
